Just yesterday in a 24 hr period, King County (greater Seattle city area) recorded 44 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths....

Indeed - the epicenter was the Life Care Center in Kirkland, WA....a care center for the elderly that are sick east of downtown Seattle appx 5 miles; it spread through the center like wildfire and there are now 10 additional elderly care centers in the greater Seattle area that have multiple COVID-19 cases; we live appx 50 miles from the Seattle downtown core.

Got some more milk today but third time lucky at Waitrose when a delivery was just made! The first two stores were bone dry, want to delay to start using the long life ones that are stored.

I really hope scientists discover where the evil came from . Anyway like I already said ,I really start to believe the conspiracy theories...

On my way to work , I pulled over at my bakery to buy some breads , pie and pastries.
I opened the door and I couldn't believe my eyes . There was a big plastic curtain in front of me . It separated me from the showcase .
There was only a small gap of 25-30 cm through the plastic screen .
I'm OK with that . But I expected not to see such a situation in front of me . Actually it looked unreal ...
There were red lines on the floor with the message : Do not cross this line , and keep distance !
Anyway the pastries are from a outstanding quality ( not cheap ) !

It's very good your baker is on the ball with his 'countermeasures' ensuring there are no issues.
Was raining yesterday later in the day here so didn't get much done but weather looks more promising today so determined to get the garden finished but garage was finally cleared. Will be loading the M to take the bags and junk to the dump..terrible you may be thinking of an M being used like this but an effective thick plastic boot covering will protect it from the elements, the rear seats being split/fold so just one trip should do it.

A good idea in theory but too many of them, there's also health and safety concern with people using them as coffee table bases etc as they pong also.

Not really it's up North about 160 miles away from me; I must say the Lotus name is synonymous with lightness and speed.
That Turbo Esprit used in the 007 film by Roger Moore was a hit with me!

You're killing me!!!! Such patisserie; this is artistry; this is why we LOVE our trips to Paris (and Europe); there simply is nothing in the US like this.

A wonderful memory of the 7th in Paris....we stood outside a patisserie one eve and watched the artisans creating cakes and icing them....I took a video of it.
