Doing well and hope you are also. Won't be long now and we will get to see good photos as well as the details of them.

The M Sport models tends to have more intricate details that might not be everyone’s cup of tea. It’s would be refreshing to have a more straightforward approach like announcing the car’s availability and organizing a promotional auto cross event for enthusiasts like us. It’s all about personal preference when it comes to these design choices.

Maybe BMW is modifying the front based on all the reactions to those two spy shots?

I'm really not sure what BMW is thinking when it designed oddly shaped grills, like on the XM.
Then the M2 came out with a similar but less vertical grill. Are they trying to go for irregular polygonal designs? Have they not realized symmetry is more pleasing to the human eye? Even Acura is almost getting its pentagonal grill designed / flowing right. What exactly was wrong with the kidney grills of the 90's, 2000's and 2010's that BMW had to shy away from them? It's crazy to think a grill design can be off-putting that maybe 5% of lost sales were a result from that. |

Excited to see how it looks - it will most likely be what sways me to either go with the X5 40 , or the m50 x3. Would love the pep and sportiness of the X3 - but the more and more X5's i see rolling around with msport packages, man they look so mean.

Yes, I'm guilty as well — the X5's have been growing on me lately. And given lack of legroom improvements to the upcoming X3, I'm starting to think about it even more...

100%. They did make it a touch wider. This could make an improvement. Afterall the x5 only has 1inch more legroom. It’s the width and height that make it feel larger back there. Both cars have very disappointing rear legroom. an x5 with GLE legroom and they would sell 25% more.

Interesting, I didn't realize the X5 has that little more legroom (lengthwise at least). And sadly the G45 is even shorter than the G01 (if I'm not mistaking). Eh... |

0 difference in interior space between x3 and x5 outside of cargo area... the x3 actually has more front legroom due to a higher dash

Then fast forward five years, the X5 is the best looking BMW SAV, followed by the X3 for the simple reason -- how the front fascia looked -- proportions, symmetry, elements that draw attention. I guess bigger grills designed well are better than smaller grills that are not designed so well. |
