Allopurinol is likely what she was prescribed. I should add that when I was treated for my gout many years ago, I told my doctor that I would self-amputate my toe(s) with a rusty hatchet if I ever had another occurrence because that would hurt less than the gout.....

I hate this freakin tech shit. My car just nailed the brakes for collision avoidance. The closest car was hundreds of feet in front of me.....

Can you disable the braking feature of collision avoidance? After three emergency brake applications on my first day of commuting with my i3, I found the magic setting to disable the brakes and just have it beep when it thinks there's an impending collision.....

It's a good thing I had the pole position at the light and took off when it changed. Had someone been right behind me, I think I would have gotten rear ended.

Lots of stories of accidents caused by automatic breaking as equipped cars approach tunnels or dark underpass. The cars brake unexpectedly and unsuspecting drivers following them rear end the cars that panic stopped for no reason.

That`s exactly what I was thinking.
Might be worth checking if you can disable it like vreihen16 did to his i3.

I said it before, I'll keep saying it. I hate this shit. Give me an analog instrument cluster, minimal screen, buttons, and let me choose if I want all this driver assistance stuff. Leave that as an option for those that don't know how to pay attention!
Get off my lawn!
