You guys have a problem whether you care to admit it or not. It doesn't necessarily have to mean taking away your rights. But when you conclude that Canadians are idiots for "letting this happen", meanwhile happily accepting the absolute tidal wave of gun deaths in your own country and being absolutely unwilling to do anything about it, then don't be surprised when others hold a similar opinion about Americans. As the saying goes, people in glass houses should not be throwing stones. |

Trudeau = cancer
Lack of Castle Doctrine / right to Self Defense in Canada = shit sandwich Now, to stay on track... picked up a PSA Rock 5.7 handgun - it comes in full size. Fascinating, low-recoil hand cannon. 23 round mag, but it'll take 24. Takes some breaking in though - put about 100 rounds through it today. Expensive ammo though (cheapest for 5.7x28 being 60 cents a round) but it's a tack driver. Solid. Fun. 1/2 the price of the FN model, and cheaper than the Ruger too. |

Being an FN fanboy I had to get this. My 509 tactical compact is one of my favorite handguns, so this thing was a natural buy. FN 509 CC edge. I think it’s beautiful but two knocks against it.
1. Double the price of competitors. 2. This is really a full sized 9mm. Will give it a run this weekend! |

I do NOT like the 509 CC Edge. The trigger on this thing is TERRIBLE, how FN can charge around $400 more than 509 Tactical Compact which I absolutely adore and come up with this is mind blowing. This is the first miss I've had in the history of all the FN products I've purchased. I just did a quick search online and apparently this is a common issue with this pistol. WOW is this a surprise!
Straight to Armslist with this one! Glad I got a good deal and paid below retail! Stay away from this pistol, it feels like it has sand in the trigger and the compensator does jack all for muzzle flip. VERY disappointed! |

Hate to say it, but my only explanation is FN is cashing in on the race gun craze and taking advantage of people. I read a couple things like this prior to purchasing, but through all my years of buying FN products I had to give them the benefit of the doubt as they're my favorite firearms manufacturer. This thing is a DOG, an absolutely dog. What a shame!
I'm serious, I wasn't putting follow up shots on target as quickly as I do with my 509 TC. The compensator is a joke! |

Anyone have any suggestions on a barrel mount for a tac light? Originally I was going to just get a tac light to mount on a picatinny rail. But I'm thinking that location would cause an unwanted shadow especially since I'm planning on putting on a suppressor on the barrel. The barrel is 16" for a 300 blackout build. Hand guard is 7" with the gas block set accordingly.
Thanks. |

Also, a 16 inch .300BO? That cartridged was designed to work well in an eight inch barrel. |
