Now partially that's because you get grandfathered as an owner (can't use or sell them, but you can keep them as a nice paperweight as long as said paperweight is properly stored and locked up). In addition, for the newest ban, there is an amnesty in place until October 2025...which is right about when an election will be held if not sooner, and if current polls are any indication, the current Liberals should get removed from power, and I hope the Conservatives repeal all the bans. |
