HTC Touch Pro on VZW comes out the 24th... I'll have to pass on the Storm. I tried the iPhone and realized that I can't live my life without a keyboard. I won't make the same expensive mistake again.

3G refers to the type of technology, not specific to any carrier. It will be the same once LTE launches in the future.

"The second 3G network operator in the USA was Verizon Wireless in October 2003 also on CDMA2000 1x EV-DO, and this network has grown strongly since then."

The Storm can do quad band freq's as it is a global device that comes w/ a SIM card which would be GSM (through Vodafone).

I used to live in Allen, so the speed and reliability is just fine.

Exactly the same as what the Verizon/Sprint Blackberry 8830 World Phones are capable of doing right now.

Engadget leaked it around a week ago and some people on Howard Forums confirmed it by telephone a couple days ago. November 24th online, December 1 in stores.

Verizon has been on 3G for a good minute now.

I'm kinda tempted to jump back on a BlackBerry, but the $45/month data plan with private server emails connected to the push email feature is a bit hefty for me to pay, especially now that it's solely for leisure using and I won't be getting compensated for it.

That's only if you're hooking up to the BES. If you want other email, gmail or whatever, then it's $29.99 for the web/email.

FYI.

It comes equipped with a SIM card for international use. It has quad band functionality and uses Vodafone as a roaming partner (Verizon and Vodafone are partners).

Domestically you would still run off of Verizon's CDMA network.

Then I might just sign up with ATT. Verizon's plans are way too pricey.

In which capacity?

Pricing structures are very similar.

I went on Verizon's website to put together a package. 900 minutes, data, unlimited text was 120 bucks.

Verizon is pricey, in fact probably most expensive than all. You are paying for all the coverage, and the network. They stand on one thing, not their phones, or their plans kiddie stuff. They stand on their service, you are buying the network not weather or not your phone comes from Apple or Samsung.

If your calls are important and you can't afford a miss call in middle of 3 way conference call, go with Verizon. If you are using yours for leisure and base use, I'd consider ATT and such. Better phone choices, and dropped calls won't probably cause you embarrassment etc..
