I already did--like I said, I am really glad you are ok, but this seriously makes me (and her, even if she won't admit it) feel better because I like driving this car in a spirited fashion.

I am impressed--kudos to BMW to surrounding us with a very fast, yet safe, car.

BTW--get the ///M--whether it is the Z4M coupe or the new 3. Both are fantastic cars--I would have one if I could afford it.

Did you faint while applying the decal?

I'm sorry, that was in poor taste...

I'm glad you walked away from that. It could have been a lot worse. Especially if you plowed through a glass window at a pet store, with cute little puppies behind it.

Sorry to see that man, I'm glad you're okay.

I crashed my 318ti into a bunch of trees and poles; I must've spun at least 3-4 times from ricochet. Everything in the car was totaled, except for the driver's seat.

These BMWs are so strong and sturdy, I wouldn't be here if I was in anything less.

Front left is kinda Fed up, but the rest are ok. I think it's just cosmetic. Tires should still have some tread left.

Cool, so this is the famous car with performance rims at JMK. I think I spoke to you on the phone...but I couldn't part with my wheels to trade for your performance wheels. If only I had a spare set of 5 lug wheels.

Glad to see your OK and can have another car of your choosing.

WOW! So glad you are OK, and clearly in good spirits.

You are truly blessed, as well as quite a good sport considering.

As far as the vultures asking, wanting, and outright taking the parts off of you're poor car... it is nothing short of pathetic! How much lower can people get?

Opportunistically unreal!

why should we let good parts go to waste though, if it happened to my car and me I'd be glad to sell parts or help those interested find them once the wreckers got it

Dude,,,It is just not the right thing to do, that's why!

However these days people somehow carry around a degree of entitlement, thinking that kind of mindset is OK, when in fact it's really not. PERIOD!

Several people talked to me via PM, phone, and in person, and I said it's all free game.

I think of it like signing an organ donor card.

Very nice of you, and clearly you are a great sport considering.

It still is just about as tacky as they can get. It is not hard to figure out that if they were PMing you, then they wouldn't be posting the questions as well.

Glad you are OK!

apparently that's the way it's supposed to happen, at least in the 3 series. Take a look at the NCAP video http://www.euroncap.com/Player.aspx?...ae&media=flash you can see it deploy in the second stage

Ps: Glad you're ok man! Best of luck with the tests.

Update:

Insurance offered $32,900. They're sending me a form to go over to correct any errors in how the car was equipped, but sounds fair to me, that's NADA.

Forgot to ask where the car was taken...

Got a letter, release form, and a nice coffee mug from BMW NA. They said they read this thread, and wanted permission to use my posts/testimonial and pictures.

They're watching....

Seriously though, I wonder how they got my real name and address from my handle?
