I don't know, if Im dreaming - the six digit number is the bigger hurdle for me - not availability...

but to each his own...

I saw one in person at cars and coffee. You can see the body gaps between every body panel for a mile. Maybe it wasnt a final production version, but it did not look anywhere close to being a $150,000 car, let alone $300,000.

I would MAYBE buy it for about $100,000 but I still cant get over the fact it looks like the hood is open. That bugs the crap out of me.

Lots of Hi-Res Pictures:

This car is not for people who care what the price tag is. That is the whole point. What we think doesn't even matter, because quite frankly, we're not in any sort of position to critique Lexus for what they've done.

The people who are in the proper position have overwhelmingly decided this car is well worth the money. I don't see how that can even possibly be construed as "fail".

yep, creating another supercar. One with the possibility of decent reliability/maintenance. That's just a terrible thing to do.

Yeah... well... our cars have two turbos, not just one!

If the front was more aesthetically pleasing I think the majority of people (including BMW riceboys) would be sold on this car.

I agree. The same can be said for the ZR1 vs almost every supercar.

The bottom line is that Toyota has sold all of there cars at this price point. The car is apparently not overpriced.
