This happened with ACB a short time ago. Not necessarily bad news but it dipped before the split and then when back up days after and I sold off at around 40% profit. I’m gonna keep an eye on this today and buy some more.

It dipped to about .75 then started making another run. I am in as deep as I want to be so didn't buy but I am in at .465 so can hold a while if needed.

They voted yesterday and approved it. Doesn't mean they have to use it. See my other "long and drawn out" post about it being the nuclear option.

Usually...an R/S isn't a good place to be. I sell right before I think it will happen, then buy back in afterwards when people are panicking if I think the company is worth it.

With Xspa.....I don't care. I held...and even bought more today. I would like to see it run, but if they did do a split it would draw the attention of the bigger guys and get the penny flippers out.

But if you look around....they have job offerings in several locations across the country.....the same way they started out with JFK.

Again...this is my opinion and my long term hold. Right now all the action is just "shaking out" people who were in it for a quick flip. These guys jumped into the stock in the .70's and sold in the .90's. They aren't interested in what this could become, they just got the volume alert on their scanner and hop on for the ride. Most probably haven't even looked into what the company is trying to accomplish.

Like you...I'm still around .47 even after averaging up a few times. I think we have a diamond here for real. And if the CEO does like I think he will, he will release steady PR every 3-4 weeks as they close contracts.

After a few of those...you will have people screaming and kicking themselves for selling too soon.

I can believe it. I have had a few flips that if I weren't so tight with my money....I would be paying cash for our next house right now!

I have a friend who has made almost 200K since the end of February. I have made a lot....but he takes a lot more risk than I do.

Either way as mentioned above......please don't be playing daily or weekly trades with money you can't afford to lose. It comes fast, but it can vanish just as quickly!

He makes very risky plays and been doing it off and on for the last 12 years. Told me the other day he lost 14m on some pharmaceutical company he thought was going to take off

Lol, how is that even possible? He'd have to be seeing something like 100% returns every-week on his $200k if he started in February.

That seems insane to me.

You can leverage up $200k pretty high with margin and shorts. High risk, high reward.

This is what I learned about small stocks today:
Last week I made a big purchase of BELFA when it had a nice price, but I did 'market order'. Don't do that with small stocks.
By the time my order was processed, the majority of my buy was made at a much higher price. Turns out, by dumping a large buy on a small stock, I moved the price myself.
With the nice rise in price, lots of other folks sold & I had an instant loss.

Murf

PS: Check volumes being traded, also.

I’ve seen it with my own eyes and he showed me when he was up to 14m and then 35m....probably close to 50 now by the rate he was going.

He would go into a stock with millions at a time. Showed me he bought 1.4m worth of American Airlines couple weeks ago...probably made bank with recent run up

He mentioned shorts, he would enter the same stock multiple times a day and take gains....I didn’t get in details how he does it. He got me into trading..gave me few hints on what to do

Very nice! That’s a huge accomplishment tbat should be applauded. You can technically call yourself a “multi”-millionaire now in the strictest sense of the word.

I believe $2M in liquid net worth should put you in the top 3-5% of all Americans which is amazing.

One cannot overstate how important financial security/independence feels. $2M for most can fund a healthy upper middle class lifestyle in perpetuity while still leaving the entire principal intact.

Any thoughts on rewarding yourself with anything since you’ve reached that milestone?

I totally believe it’s possible to do this, but one thing gives me pause. The fact that he made it to $14M at one point and still kept up with these incredibly high risk investments leads me to believe that he’s possibly a bit of a loose cannon and may have a gambling problem.

I can’t think of any reasonable human being that turned $200k into $14M who would look at that and keep going.

If he’s indeed at $30M right now, then he’s catapulted himself into top 0.1% of households by net worth. Something like the top 160,000 households in America are ultra high net worth individuals with $30M+. He should stop and put all of his gains (less capital gains taxes) into SP500 ETFs/mutual funds immediately. Anything else would be foolish. He can play around with 10%.

Or he can go the route of virtually 100% of lottery winners that go completely broke within about 10 years of winning their fortune.

$30M to a guy that has $200k a few months ago from high risk day trading is indistinguishable from winning the lottery. I’m super super happy for him but I hope he acts smart now.
