I gave up fast food at least 15 years ago. The older I get, the more I try to eat a healthy, well balanced diet. As my dad once told me, "You are what you eat."

Was out shopping with the wife all morning the other day and picked up some Farmer Boys for lunch on the way home. Cheeseburgers and onion rings for both of us. $25 bucks total. Not a bad price and the food was pretty good.

The last time I ate fast food was almost fifteen years ago. I ate a meal. An hour later, I spent half an hour in the bathroom. I haven’t had any fast food since.

I quit fast food at about thirty years old and at sixty-one I feel like forty and probably look forty-five. Fast food is a drug that kills you slowly and is fast but not really food.
