Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback. I think he's so healthy because the folks on the ranch try to take care of him. There are a good number in Texas, but I think they've dwindle a lot more than they ought to have over recent years.
Here's the neighborhood cat, Rocky, who had come to hang out with a friend and myself on my back porch. He's the coolest cat I've come across in a long while. Neighborhood Rocky by Shane

So, I'd been sitting on my stool for two-hours, shooting egrets, herons, gulls, geese, duck, pelicans, etc. all relaxing and getting ready to bed down on this point. This fisherman came up and was nice enough to ask if he'd mess up my shot if he fished off this point, to which I said that it would, because he'd scare off all the birds that I'd been shooting for the last two-hours and I was waiting for the sunset. I suggested that the stream to my immediately left or the cove to my right had all been successfully fished by the birds. The shit-head then headed straight for the point and scared off all the birds. He didn't even spend fifteen minutes fishing the point, then walked away. At least he didn't catch anything. It takes all kinds:

Looks like you're off to a good start with the raptors. Ours never go away, they're just much harder to spot in trees with leaves.

Long Exposure
Went out the other evening for a sunset which didn't happen as I thought it might !
So . . . . as there wasn't much colour but interesting clouds, I tried a long exposure. This is 60 secs at f/22, looking due east about 30 minutes after sunset.
