I agree, the X3 was always a long shot for me anyway, but yeah it’s a hard pass. The exterior really isn’t too bad though. Should look mean in black.

I like the rear end alot. Front end will take some getting used to but overall I think it's a good design.

Interior definitely looks cheap and a step down. I thought the interior was supposed to be moving up a step and being more in line with the X5…guess not.

Exterior looks fairly good overall. Will be interesting to see what the X3M looks like once that eventually gets revealed.

The exterior on the M50 is actually pretty nice besides the non-grille grille. However, that interior is a MASSIVE step down, it's lifeless and bland. Maybe another color will help but nothing about it says luxury to me at all.

I'm glad we got our current gen M40i when we did.

That would be one odd embargo. Being allowed to show pictures of the entire vehicle, describe the exterior and engine details but not allowed to talk about the interior. I guess given how bad it looks maybe BMW is afraid of how it would be described.

I do like that side profile. Looks a fair bit lower that our G01s which gives it a sportier more dynamic look -- to me, anyway!

I do hope the rear headroom hasn't been too affected by this change, though. If there's one thing I want in the new G05, its a tad more rear width and legroom...

Said this a ton. Look at the new 5 series. Bmws interiors as a whole are going down big time. So saying “5 series” like doesn’t mean anything anymore. Saw this coming from a mile away..

This shouldn't have been a surprise? look at the i5/5 as to where things would go. When that model got hit severely, it was only a matter of time on everything below the 5
