My mom explaining to my ex boyfriend (then current, we had been together for 2 years then) that I am a frigid and that when my body goes, I'm done.

My ex said to that that "well of you only knew how well she can spread them, you'd shut up" and in comes my father.

A long silence followed and then my dear dad kindly explained to my mom that even though she has no clue about my life, doesn't mean he doesn't either.

The best first date is you showing you've done your research and you know stuff about her.

My ex took me fishing. A boat and time to talk or not and I was hooked. My current one has never taken me to a date so I can't say what he could've done, I was sold after we met and we spent two hours playing chess in a pub. Ever since then we just took our dogs out or we kicked the shit out of each other.

Dress casual but like you put a little effort into it. Choose a small, casual restaurant that isn't too loud and has yummy food. Don't spend too much, not more than $100 total I think. And just pay lots of attention to her, ask lots of questions and be funny. If you don't know eachother well, then just end with a hug and say you had a nice time. If you plan to call her again then say so. If not, try not to lie.

I think this can be a bit tough for a first date as that is when two people learn more about each other. Unless I knew the girl beforehand, I would not know what she likes or dislikes.

Texting. Don't be obvious and don't just list your hobbies, or simply say she has three hours to impress you, let her plan it!

It's about a 10 minute window. Men are stupid, so take it to texting so you can ANALYZE her responses.

See V1 and me as an example. We all know we are match made in heaven since we've been at this foreplay for two years almost now. Ive stated him my dislike of sugar and sweets often and he always things a laptop and chips is the way I'd go. He'd take me to candy factory, we'd be married in a week and drinking kossu instead of champagne.

My grandma was a childcare provider. She took me for a holiday to spend with her and one day she told the other kids to go for a nap and let me stay behind and we had a kuningatartuutti, an ice cream cone with raspberries and blueberries in her porch swing. Ive never in my life felt as special, and she told me stories about what her childhood was like. I still remember them all and I was 4 at the time.

In a way, the few weeks I got to spend with her before she died at the age of 59 has taught me all I know about being a mother or what warmth feels like.
