He's right, most of the tech is a complete nuisance, just ridiculous garbage. Beep fucking beeeeep fucking beeeep and 97 steps to change the fucking air temp.

Leave me alone. I need three knobs, volume, air speed and air temp, rest is rubbish.

She is well. Heading to FL in a couple of days to spend a couple of weeks there.

How are the blow-up dolls? Are you still dealing with domestic manufacturers or have you gone international?

i see you resolved it but ill throw my 2 cents in since i have a car that doesnt get driven except for rare occasions.

I have a collectors'ish vehicle (94 trans am anniversary edition with 24k miles. all original and in great shape which bumps its value up significantly higher than what i bought it for, and i put < 100 miles/yr on it). At the end of the day though, its just a car, and unless im putting a ton of miles on it in a couple weeks worth of dailying it, not a big deal to short term daily it. My wife has had to daily it a few times while her car was in the shop, or broken down and im fixing it or for whatever reason.

end of the day, the cost of a rental > cost of her driving it for a little bit so not that big of a deal. in your case, i would choose to pick a different battle since a 335 isnt going to be a collectors car for a long time.

Ahh the doll thread...that was Wakka that infiltrated them first right? Then didn't we take another shot a few years later at trying to get back in? I think so, but can't remember who took the shot.

Such a good thread though.

BUT, dear jesus fucking titty christ kids are a nightmare these days. They are TOTALLY out of control. I steadfastly REFUSE to believe it is not asking too much of kids over 4 to sit still for 30 minutes and eat dinner facing the table. No wiggling, no touching the guy next to you, no standing on the chair, no using hands instead of a fork, no sliding under the table, just fucking sit, eat and talk.

Apparently not though, both my kids and the sister in law's do all of the above and it drives me absolutely crazy.
This is one my biggest pet peeves with my son. My kids are 9yr old twins and my daughter can sit like a human and eat correctly. My son can stay still for about 10 minutes. We don't allow any electronics at the table and no TV during meals. It's the most stressful part of the day. Well besides the mornings before school, after school, and bedtime.

Today they were complete animals in the car ride home from school. I pulled into a parking lot and made them get out and give me 20 jumping jacks. I didn't care if they were embarrassed, but It's better than screaming at them which just elevates my BP.

At 54 I'm too old for this shit.

10 and 5, nearly 6. Entering a much better phase once they finally go to school. Doing a lot of karting, biking etc so will be in a sweet spot for a while until the oldest gets the urge to start fucking something.

But yeah I am toast, I am 45 pounds up on 10 years ago, dead tired, just wasted man. In modern times, with less help from parents etc one should be looking to have kids by late 20's imho.

There are some caves in that spot I PM'd you about a while ago if neither of you guys are claustrophobic. An added plus is your wife might get stuck and you'd have to leave her to go call EMS. Cell signal isn't great, so sadly you'd probably have to go all the way home, make the call, and slowly make your way back...will give her plenty of time to choose creative words to express herself upon your return. Bet you'd even learn some new words out of it.

5 pages for a $200 rental??? Wow!

Who care what you do with your car, it is yours, you can put it in the bedroom and never drive it, up to you.
You offer transportation in the form of paying the rental.
Done!

If she doesn't understand you, maybe you should think VERY VERY HARD before going further in the relationship, it doesn't get better after getting married, anything that didn't work before gets worse overtime.

Don't settle with someone you can live with. Settle with someone you can't live without.
Not following this advice costs me a lot of money.

The Doll Thread is one of the treasures of BP-OT. It should be gold plated and enshrined as a sticky for all to see!!

Wakka is a GENIUS!!

Gentlemen, thank you for confirming my decision to settle down with some who doesn't have an operational uterus. I really dodged bullets with the 39 y/o and the 40 y/o. They both wanted kids. Love them. Have one. I'm good.
