Environmental consultant. Primarily do mergers and acquisition due diligence assisting private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies with acquisitions and divestitures. I also do litigation support with law firms.
I voluntarily transitioned to part-time status (32 hour work week, not a minute more) last year about could not be more happy. I'm 48 and plan to retire in 5 years or so. |

Retired from the AF/AFRES after 27 years as a C-5 Galaxy Flight Examiner.
Currently a B-737 Captain/Line Check Airman for a major airline (~25 years so far- there was overlap between the two careers). Mandatory retirement as an airline pilot is 65, although there are rumblings that it might get raised 2-3 years. Either way, I've got a few years to go.
