Confession: I LOVE this car more than the law allows. I sourced the only BMW-LL04 approved oil in my area several hours ago(Liqui-Moly)and changed it AGAIN and it ran smoother than a knife thru butter. Hurray!!

Let it run a few hours In the driveway while cleaning it in 30 degree weather. Got it all cleaned up and then BAMM!! DTM on cylinder 8 . Cylinder 8 was the plug and coil that I got lazy on when I did the last service. I didn't change that ONE coil and plug and apparently the car sensed it. WHAT A BITCH! Had to change them tonight and everything is kosher so far.

Real confession: if this car was all good I'd probably HATE it but it keeps me guessing and I kinda sorta like that🤷🏽*♂️.

Kinda weird that I complain about this car so much but keep sinking money and time into it...fact is that lots of ppl gave up on me and threw me to the side without even giving me a chance or trying to see my worth.

I keep this car because I KNOW it's worth it! Idgaf about the costs to maintain it, that's a price to PAY! But I inherently LOVE to drive and like to be adored(discretely). Screw my complaints and gripes because I have a heart and know that this car feels everything I'm doing for her...shit I'm going to insurance court in a few weeks to dispute the charges and rates I've been amassed. That's LOVE!

It's not a big deal, it just isn't supposed to be "long life" then, just change it a bit sooner as I'm sure you do every oil change
I change it every 12 hours so far. Is that "long life approved"? Cause I'm DYING!! The longest I've gone so far was 3 days and that had me shitting BRICKS!!

Why you no blocky platey?

I will now post up the skeletons in your closet.

BTW, what was the outcome of that bitch ass customer complaint on you?

"Blocky platey"? Come again?!

And we all have skeletons! Yes, I've said many, MANY times that I "HATE THIS FKN CAR" but it is what it is. I signed the loan papers so it is what it is.

Remember that time Bill Clinton got his dick sucked? I too have had that done and will deny it if asked publicly by the disgusting tricks that I've encountered.

Life happens. Enjoy

Please tell me you were kidding, or made a typo, about changing your oil every 12 hours. Just thinking about it gives me anxiety

I still do it. Wasn't kidding. But until my "DTM" goes away I'm dedicated to finding the source of the issue and if it's my not adhering to BMW rules than I'm learning a hard lesson that I'm willing to take an"L" on. In fact the only reason I didn't change it tonight is because I've finally gotten the "all systems ok message" that I've been trying to seek on this journey.

I LOVE my BMW, don't get it wrong! But when things go wrong I absolutely HATE it and admit to downing it when things happen.

Do I HATE my "child", no. Do I wish it were more reliable? YES! Would I throw it out in the street because it let me down? Not hardly!

Because as a parent of a temperamental child I've learned to deal with its tantrums and know that one day it'll grow up.

I look at my cars as humans. As much as they let me down I know someday that I'll be thankful for what they've done.
