Fedor retires oh noe..... the cans of the heavy weight division rejoice
in all seriousness, he was a great fighter, too bad we never got to see him against the very elite of the division, sucks when a good guy is stuck behind shitty management |

I can't wait to see Imanari and Sobral fuck shit up :P Who you guys got for the Ufc on Fox card? I got Maynard, Hioki and Stout winning their bouts. Ufc 147, I'd love to see Silva do what he does best but I personally think Franklin's got this. Hmm hard to say. If the ufc had pride rules, I'm pretty sure that Shogun and Wanderlai Silva would have done a WHOLE LOT BETTER in their time in the ufc. Fact is tho, different rules, different outcomes Last edited by Garduna; 06-22-2012 at 09:29 AM.. |

and agreed on all accounts regarding UFC on FX but I think Silva is going to pull it off, the roar from the crowd is gonna give him a lil extra and seeing how close the last fight was, I think he's gonna get the win, maybe even by ko/tko Anyone follow TUF brazil? it was one of the best season of TUF in a long time, if not ever. Mutante is a beast, not sure about the other match up since its gonna be close but I'll be rooting for Jason, I like Pepey too though. Which was the hardest part about that season of TUF, i really liked every single guy, they all had amazing stories. Not like US TUF where we get guys Junie Brownie or Jessie Taylor... |

TUF Brazil, as far as who I'm rooting for, pretty much everyone really. All of their stories are so much more heart felt. Every single one of em has suffered so much and they are all doing it for their own families. It's as tho I really want em all to win so that they can support their families and help those they love get out of the slime of drugs and violence. The one I want to see win the least is vitor's protege lol. Don't know why but something about him just doesn't make me like him. |

Yes Fedor's legacy was fucked with by his management but, there was outside intervention also. In one of the interviews, Dana was talking about his last sitdown with M-1 and Emperor on some island on a coast of BFE. He was saying that no matter what numbers he was throwing at Fedor some Russian government fella that was there kept saying that its not enough. White was ready to hand over a 30 million dollar contract for 3 fights and that guy kept saying that its not enough.
Yes, UFC rules do hinder from Shogun spreading his wings but he is still the Boss in my eyes. He needs to get his shit together and cripple vera (shouldn't be hard to do) to show everyone that he still got it. Just finished watching the weigh-ins live. werdum needs to be put to sleep by Mike tomorrow, Mike needs to bring out the Hammer Fist of Doom on his bitchass. Rich and Silva are both looking good so we will see if they can capture FOTN or FOTY tomorrow. Last edited by Motif; 06-22-2012 at 03:47 PM.. |

Clay...Urgh...What can i say about him? He is an incredibly awesome person but sorta sucky entertainer. Dana needs to cut him to send a message to prevent another Carlos Condit/Clay Guida running around the octagon marathon.

Checking out the ufc fox card now.
Pearson vs Swanson: Very cool cross into capoeira kick by swanson! Nice exchanges in the first round. Some ppl might not like the call to stop the fight but ross was totally gonna get swarmed upon. Chest Arrow vs Waldberger: WOW Ebersole getting out of that darce choke was impressive! It amazes me how tj keeps getting ebersole into all those submissions but mr chest hair always finds a way to get out and punch tj in the haha. Boy gets his 50th career win. That's a shitload of fights won! Stout vs Fisher: Takedowns and dominate positions won Stout this bout. Maynard vs Flying Hair Monkey: OK I get it, one hit and run away but man shit was annoying. I'm not a huge maynard fan but I was rooting for him after round one. Glad to see he got in some trash talking and tried to win it and kept it interesting. Realistically, I thought clay won (by points) but BOY AM I HAPPY THAT Gray won instead! ONE FC, hope there's a BT of it Wandi vs Franklin in less than 24hr from now |

good weekend of fights, went to my first live event of friday, watched FX sat morning, then saw 147 later that night.
I thought mutante vs sergio should have gotten FOTN, the Silva vs franklin was good but the other two put it all out there. Werdum looked really good, made Russow look like he didnt even belong in there I was really impressed by Massaranduba and Hacran Dias, if Massaranduba can really get down to 155 like he was saying, holy crap, watch out. Vina also had a great comeback as far as the Guida fight goes, the first 3 rounds sucked, not like Clay at all. The 4th and 5th were pretty decent though. Ebersole w/ crazy sub defense, Swanson looking better than ever. I called the Lamas upset but was surprised on how it happened. Dan Miller and Matt Brown w/ solid victories and holy crap, Steven Siler is a beast! |

Anyone catch this?
The usually mild-mannered middleweight champion took no prisoners Monday during a UFC 148 conference call, speaking with unprecedented candor about his plans for Chael Sonnen at the July 7 event in Las Vegas. “It doesn’t matter if I’m on bottom, side or top. Chael Sonnen is going to get his ass kicked like he’s never gotten his ass kicked before,” Silva said through a translator. “What I’m going to do inside the Octagon is something that’s gonna change the image of the sport. I’m going to make sure that every one of his teeth are broken, his arms are broke, his legs are broke. He’s not going to be able to walk out of the Octagon by himself, I can guarantee that. I know he’s listening: The game is over, no more s--- talking. It’s on now.” |
