There is never a one-size-fits-all solution like some are trying to shove down our throats. EVs are great in certain areas, like dense cities that have the charging infrastructure. Lithium mining isn't exactly clean, and if people think EVs are easily adaptable to rural areas that still currently have range anxiety with gasoline vehicles, well then I have ocean front property to sell them in Wyoming.

My prediction is EVs will gain popularity and V8s will decrease in numbers but these 100% electric transition conversations are just politically motivated. I spoke with an engineer here on the University campus where I work, and he stated that if they added only 100 EVs to their campus fleet, they would have to revamp their entire electrical infrastructure.

Lucky for me, my G20 lease doesn't end till October and it's only got 18k miles on it so I'm not desperate for a new car right now.

Ugh I remember when I ordered my G20 and the 2 month wait was agonizing back then. Not sure how I'm going to survive this "6-8 months barring any unforeseen delays" time.

No but seriously. Here's the R8 and my driveway / road whatever. Shits not happening and I'll sum it up in this regards - the NA V10 was amazing. It was really nice to be in a na car cuz it's been such a long time didn't even realize. But, BUT. It doesn't feel special. It feels generic. It is a daily drivable supercar but right there is the problem. Doesn't feel special.

But for those attention whores? Put the top down and go sit at a few red lights, lol.

Well, I figured I'm ordering stuff I might as well see all else that needs ordering lol.
