Yeah, I kinda do. It's not the best pic, but that's just because I'm looking at the camera, lol. It makes me look kinda cross-eyed in that photo. Maybe high is a better word, I dunno.

Quick question...your title says F16 crew chief. Does that mean primary pilot? I'm assuming yes since you're seated in the front and you can see the back seat rider in the video?

My dad was in the air force and the crew chiefs for the cargo planes like C130s, 141s, C5, etc were usually NCO and not the pilot/co-pilot. But this was back in the 80s and things could have changed since then.

So I guess in that picture I look like a baked Tobey Maguire, Hugo Weaving, Steve Buscemi hybrid. That doesn't surprise me though, like I said before, everyone tells me I look like someone different. I actually can sort of see the Buscemi bit around the eyes, but not the mouth. Dude's got a messed up grill. Maybe I'll post a different picture later and hopefully I won't look high.

Crew Chief's like me do not fly and simply the same as what your dad done in the past. A Crew Chief is nothing more than a Jet Mechanic whether be it you work on fighters or in your dads case, heavy's. Per AFI 21-101, sole purpose of a Crew Chief is being the Dedicated Crew Chief or DCC which is usually a SrA (E-4) and above and you have your Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief or ADCC which is usually SrA (E-4) and below. As a Crew Chief, your main purpose is the head person that is assigned to and in charge of that specific jet. We are nothing more short of just being maintainers (mechanics) resposible for everything that happens to it. Best way I could describe it.

In that video, I was sitting in the back seat. Usually in D model F-16's, thats the spot where the Instructor pilot sits and the student pilot sits in front. For this instance, I was just getting a rare incentive flight, something your dad might have recieve when he was in the AF. Pilot's now a days are reserved for Officers, something I wish that I was even to this day... wish I didn't fuck it up in the past!
