Reference for M3 configurations by generation?
I'm curious to know if the M3 is currently, or has in the past, been available as a convertible, with manual transmission, in vermillion red metallic. I'm unsure how to begin research to determine if this configuration ever was or is currently available. Any insight is appreciated.

You can order that or almost any other color through the individual program. Its just a special request that you can start with your CA your email bmw individual directly to get it approved. Any previous bmw color costs $5k, if approved (some paints like techno violet and fire orange are being denied right now due to production issues). If its a color from another make, anywhere from $7.5k to $10k to cover r&d costs.

M3 in the past has had convertible and MT options.
You can apply to get most individual colors option as long as BMW approves the color, you can get that paint. Currently M3 is sedan only, to get the options you want it would have to be a F83 M4 vert 6spd with individual vermilion red metallic |

As others have said, M4 vert only. The verts are two door only, not four door.

I believe vermilion red was only available for the e92/93 LCI 3 series but not for the M3. Like others said you can probably get it done thru Bmw individual but it'll cost you 5k.
