OEM BMW ColorSystem wheel paint types & applications
Hi guys,
I'm planning to repair my curbed wheels and saw some DIY's stating that the silver paint used on BMW rims is from the company called Wurth. Now that is not true as some people stated that the paint does not match 100%. So after a few minutes of searching, I found out that BMW uses several silver paints for various rim styles. Here is the list of spray paint codes and names. I'm sure it's not 100% correct, it's too complicated and I don't have that much time to search more.

Very nice info. My stock rims are due for a refinish and paint. Does BMW have specific clear for the rims as well?

BMW ColorSystem Racing Clear 2K Spray #51910432616. I asked local BMW dealership about the color and clear coat. The guy didn't tell me the code or # of the clear, but told me that A55 is the right color for my M Sport wheels.
