Gotta feeling the gt3 rs got spanked by acr and probably z06 as well...in other news porsche fanboys are still paying up 350k for a track car that isn't the quickest for the price

In before EfEightyM3 claims otherwise.....or claims that even if the Porsche got beat, it still "feels" like the best car ever made and by Flag Day of 2019, it will be selling for roughly $3.3MM.

I understand people that can like Porsches but 2 points must be made clear- 1) they are overpriced 2) you aren't even close to getting the best performance in the class If those 2 are accepted, then I can understand the want for a Porsche... Although, if those 2 are accepted, what then is the point of a Porsche? And that's the conundrum that in my opinion, Porsche falls into with every one of their cars. I would argue that the Macan is the only car that doesn't fall into such a stupid position because the Macan S is very attractively priced and can directly compete with something like say an X4 or the shitty Benz offering, and I would say its overall a better package. |

If you're gonna argue feeling, then that's something that everyone car argue for every brand... I can say the same for BMW because it offers not only feeling but also a better street feeling due to the overall DD package. Others would say, the Vettes offer the most feeling because of the noises of the car and V8 engine emotion... but in the market realm as a whole that has 0 meaning. So, let's call it for what it is,a car for a specific person with a specific want for that car... and feels the price is justified. The GT4 may be an outstanding car but so little of it is made and allocations are so limited because Porsche understands that the market as a whole wouldn't accept a tiny car like that with 380hp car for close to 100K.

I sure hope it would beat the Z06, which isn't nearly the one trick pony as the ACR. You can daily drive a Z06 comfortably - hard to say the same thing for the ACR. Z06 comes with a lot more amenities for the lower price as well. |

Limits of the rear engine chassis IMO. Even porsche knows for the highest performance they have to go to a mid-engine chassis. The more they want to keep the 911 rear engine and the more automobile technology evolves, the harder it is for them to keep it competitive.

^this.
fuck PCNA. they know dealers are ghost posting allocations, flipping allocations, and playing all sorts of shady shit with pulling allocations/returning deposits. i hope a repeat of 1993 comes around, but they go bankrupt. most 911GT3 and GT3 RS are garage queens. barely seeing light of day, much less a track. Go ACR!

Show me another car with 500 hp that runs 7:20 at the Ring? Most anything around that time will be 600-700 hp. A pagani zonda f club sport for by comparison runs 7:25. It's 2700 lbs and has 650 hp yet is slower. |

Porsche priced the car at 175k, what anyone decides to pay for it is up to them.
