Now That I Think Of It....
all i can say is holy shit guys lol. now that i think of it in another 1-2 years at the most used maybachs will be affordable at $100-110k, sl55 will be affordable, used 996 turbos, gt2, and gt3 even more affordable, bentley gts around 80-100k.
this makes me really think about next car. a used sl55 doesn't sound bad expecially with rentech pulley, intake, and chip alone (also have a s/c available). a bentley gt wouldn't sound bad either |

Those Bentley's and Aston's will hold their value better than those AMG's, M's, and RS's.
But yeah, it's gonna be crazy in the future.

But then you'll just want the newer AMGs, the newer Bentleys and the newer Astons because they'll look even cooler and perform even better than the ones now.
A 360 Modena is going for under 100K nowadays though, which is pretty sweet

sl55 gay and waste of mod money.. Sl65 much better, comes with a diff already, only 2 mods (renntech chip and intercooler pump) gives you 840lbs of torque 740 Hp youll run a 10.5 qt (look at dragtimes.com). it handles .93 Gs. the sl55 amg has so much little mods and shit just to squeeze power out and it still wont be as fast and in the end willl cost you more than a used Sl65.. Sl65 FTW 840lbs torque is just pants shitting power.. |

I was looking into buying a used Porsche 996...maybe like a 04 05 with around 29,000 miles on it for about $40,000. I think thats a great price for a Porsche..those fuckers are nice!

SL55s are the shit even if they're not as fast as the 65. Once again, purchases are based solely on performance.
Anyhow, a Bentley would be nice but I could image the maintenance would be very expensive compared to most cars. Same with a Ferrari, expensive maintenance. But if these cars are weekend driven, fine. SL55 would be an awesome daily driver. |

porsche 993 is one of my favorite cars of all time, but those damn air cooled engines retain value too well for their own good. slow by today's standards, but the design is timeless and the engine is bulletproof.
if cars today that cost under 50k can run sub 5 second 0-60 times and 50k+ cars are running sub 4 second 0-60 times, imagine in 10-15 years mid range cars will run times like today's high end cars and tomorrows high end cars will run like space ships. i think the real question is what will tomorrows high end cars be fueled by.
