OMG ... looks awesome! I think the wheels look a little busy, Porsche wheels have always been simple, this one looks too frilly and none too light either...This car's got a nice rear end, reminds me of the GT1 le mans homologation. This would base sticker right around M6 prices right? Tough choice...

0-60 in 3.4 secs.(Tip)/ 3.7 secs.(Man).. This car must be quite light to go that fast... As far as MRSP, I'd say $130k+

Yeah, it's lighter than the 996 Turbo, which means ownage.

I absolutely love this car, but I know I'll like the GT3 even more, raw, hard edge car for a hard edge guy. Whoa, that matches!!

Here's a quick PS of the turbo without the side vents (looks cleaner imo):

I know, I know, but I think it looks better this way.

Even more for you when your body is blown to smithereens as you encounter extreme g's as you soon as you tap the accelerator.

+2 on the GT3 (esp with clubsport) option...the 997 Turbo is a tad too gran touring for extreme fun...perfect all-rounder though, hallmark of recent 911 Turbos. I'll add it to my ever-lengthening list of cars to buy when my powerball numbers come up...

The photography and background is beautiful. Looks like something Nikki would do with her camera setup (when she's not owl watching).

I'm sure the photographer of that photo would appreciate that comparison.

In regards to the weight, I've been reading every single page of the overview on the interactive launch site, and it says the 997 Turbo weighs in at 3,494 lbs. Crazy to think the GT3 will be less, can't wait...

I like the side vents but I think it would look nicer with no stripe in it... Well I want a GT3 now! But when I'm old I want a Turbo.. 4-wheel drive is cool in Sweden!

holy PORSCHE! that car is amazing!

i agree with shim about the side vents. i'm sure though they aren't there just as a useless design addition...

The tiptronic is faster than the manual? Interesting...I wonder if it's a double clutch based auto instead of a slush box...must be if it's faster.
