Comes with like, 18 inch Axis Seven Wheels. 93,612 Miles. Price: $15,999. http://images.cars.com/supersized/DMI/1042/S7414Y.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.02.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.03.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.04.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.05.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.06.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.07.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.08.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.09.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.10.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM.../S7414Y.11.jpg Last edited by SolidSnake2634; 08-17-2008 at 12:56 AM.. |

1st One ... but I would carfax to see what TSBs have been performed.
Check the tire wear on the fronts (my 03 track went through two sets of stock tires on Nissan's dime before I ripped out all the suspension and started over). There is a known TSB on this. Also check the 1-2 shift ... 03 (any model) were notorious for manual trans problems. Other than that ... not much else, but definitely get the manual transmission, much more fun on that car. |

sorry for the noob question, but what are TSB's? he was just telling me it might be inconvenient for everyday driving since the clutch just gets annoying after a while |

Track model hands down man, those axis wheels are pretty cheap and in no way compares to the value of those brembos

I have a Z (selling it next week actually), and I'd go with the 1st one.
Track, Brembros, 6-speed all worth it. Personally I wouldn't buy a modded car, let alone a modded automatic with cheap rims. Also things to look out for on the Z's... 1. Like Alpine M said, check the front tires, and make sure they don't have that alignment problem. 2.Check the windows... Z's have a problem with their window motors (but nissan won't address it cause it's too much $$$) 3. It probably has the bose "system" (half assed system that SUCKS). I bought my Z and the bose CD changer went in a matter of months. All in all... the windows and stereo are minor issues. I'd upgrade the system anyways, and the window motors can be had at autozone for like $500 total, and THAT comes with a lifetime warranty (better than those nissan pricks).

Good luck to you guys with the Z. Used cars are a gamble... I got lucky with my Z, but who knows how easily I'll be able to sell it. Hope it goes quick.

Thanks. I'll probably put it online in the next week or so. Only problem with it is the windows, which is why I mentioned it in a previous reply. I used to be on a 350Z forum and a LOT of people have had problems with their window motors. The Nissan fanatics get OEM nissan motors, but most people go to an autozone or something like that and get window motors with a lifetime warranty. Might want to tell your friend to read up on some 350Z forums too, some great info out there.

ooh. wow. lifetime warranty. good stuff. thanks for the suggestion. i'll tell my friend tomorrow. i think he'll be picking up the car on thursday, friday, or this weekend. the first "mod" ill tell him to do is to switch out the window motors. haha. i'll be sure to tell him to do get on some forums. would it be okay with you if I pm you sometimes if he has questions about the 350z that I can't help him find the answer to? if you kinda know me on e90post, it wouldn't surprise you if I register on some 350z forums and become his spokesperson/secretary like i am on here after all, i do like 350z's |

I would look on www.autotrader.com before he buys from a lot.
My dad just sold his 03' Touring with an auto trans. 15,700 miles....$17,000. Those cars have some miles and the dealer is always going to make around $3,000 on a used car. FYI. Look for PRIVATE sellers on autotrader.

Example...This one is 22 miles from Arcadia.
03 43,000 miles ASKING $15,000 meaning he could get some discount. The 2 you have shown are way overpriced IMO.

Well, the window motor thing is just an option if they break on him. Yeah, PM all you want, sometimes I'm online a lot (this week) and sometimes I'm away, but yeah, if I can help, it's no problem at all. Ha, yeah, I tend to get caught up in whatever car forums that match the cars I buy. (Was in my350Z.com before this, but I kinda like this place better .) Quote:
Aside from buying a used manual car, I wouldn't recommend buying a manual thats had more than 1-2 owners, and especially anything modded.

Everyone I know who as had a 350 got rid of them within a couple years.
They are basically two seaters that get 16MPG city. Resale values are plummeting for these cars as owners get into something more fuel efficient. You should be able to do better with pricing. manheim has a 2003 with 68k miles auction price of 2003 NISSAN 350Z $10,115 - $13,065 So a good price would be $13k or less.
