Lol. Some of you people are just plain depressing. We have never had better looking cars except for maybe the late 60s and early 70s and most of you probably weren’t even born then. These new BMW’s are awesome. All of them. It’s funny though the people who complain the most are the same people that claim to be the biggest fans. Meanwhile sales have never been higher for BMW including the new G80. It’s record-breaking. So obviously some of you are in the extreme minority when it comes to opinion on design. I guess you can switch brand loyalty if will help you. If you’re this depressed I highly recommend pills, whiskey and self-help tapes. Good grief.

Pig nose = you jerks at BMW changed the look for my beautiful, wonderful, one and only, one of a kind F80.



They’re also well on their way to sell a hell of a lot more G80/82s than they did of the F80/82. Not bad for a “pig nose”


Maybe the next generation they will go back to the old style. I mean no other car manufacturer is ever going backwards but maybe BMW will. You never know. Maybe somebody on their design engineering team will say “ladies and gentlemen I think we should have the same kidney grille forever. That way we won’t ever upset the handful of core enthusiast“. You never know brother. If not there’s always whiskey.

I just thought of this also. You know you don’t have to buy the G80. You can stick with the F80. Yes it’s slower, rougher and has less technology but it doesn’t have the “pig nose”. So there’s that.

While the eternal complainers annoy me sometimes too, one must also have understanding for their displeasure. I myself am not a hater of the new front resp. the new grille, I rather dislike some other parts as it's a bit too tacky and some parts look just like ricey afermarket parts (but is not so bad that I would not buy the car anyway, because the positive sides outweigh).

Sure you can say "then just don't buy the car", but people may not want anything else, because they don't really like the cars of other manufacturers and therefore their hope was that they will buy the next M3/M4 (for example). So it is understandable that they are disappointed when they don't like the car they had planned to buy next.
