Toyota is going back to full production. Any hope for BMW?

I think Toyota Motor Corp had gone the route of cutting back production rather than cutting features like BMW. Looks like they now have secured suppliers for chips and parts, and are returning to full production. Any good news from BMW or is the future still bleak?

Looks like Lexus will easily beat Mercedes to the top luxury brand in sales in the US and might even beat BMW, if BMW can't ramp up sales. Tesla might best Mercedes as well in sales this year….

2013 BMW 128i  [10.00]
We just received a rather large allocation of X3 for January, including one from the SA plant. This helps our immediate shortage of our best-selling BMW, but we still have a backlog of orders for the X5 PHEV and, of course, the new 2-series and any true M car such as M3 and M4 coupe. Still waiting for our first (and last) M5CS to be shipped. We have only five new BMWs on the lot but nearly all of our sold orders have been converted to production for the next month or so. Not enough surplus to want to discount, but that's just the way it is! At least we're not charging (thousands) over MSRP like the dealers in FCX5's market.

Availability will win the day in this market.

A manufacturer that gets products into consumers’ hands will win market share from adjacent brands/models.

Are these full featured cars or do they have deleted touch screens and other deletions? Are consumers still buying with the deletions? Personally, it’s hard to justify luxury car prices when luxury features are stripped while some non luxury cars have those features.
