The Germans have lane discipline, drivers stay out of the passing lane unless they are passing. In North America he would rear ended a dozen cars in the few miles he drove.

Yes it would have been a 17 year old texting in the left lane while driving 10 miles per hour below the posted speed.

They should have included the fuel gauge dropping from full to empty in 3 minutes! :-)

That's because in NA we enforce whatever laws we feel make more money and can't be as easily disputed. Most states have a "keep right to pass law" is it ever enforced? No because there were lawsuits against police departments and it was too easy to get out of the tickets. So instead they worry about the car that can do 200 mph doing 10 over the speed limit. It's like in NY upstate, the interstate is a 65 mph zone with 2 lanes on each side, you get onto the state road which is 4-5 abreast at all times in each direction it drops to 55, if you can explain 1 reason other than being able to give people tickets easier why that's necessary considering the traffic isn't even as bad as the interstates id love to know

Upstate NY, I've been nabbed a few times down there for just minor infractions of the speed limit. I could choose not to pay their fine but I would never be allowed back in the state.

Other issue is it's WAY too easy to get a drivers license here. Any moron with half a brain can get one.

Plus, some will go 74 in the left lane because that is as fast as anyone should ever go, and they are doing the world a favor by keeping everyone "safe". 🙄

no shit, why is it always 74? Like they want that 1 mph buffer under the speed limit.
