Today's EDC - New or Pocket Dump
So - I've done a little searching / both within the forum and on Google using the url and topic (often get better results that way)... and...
I've not seen a topic about EveryDayCarry here.... Knives, wallets, watches, keys, pistols, pens, etc... Have these threads been started and then deleted because of the weaponry that typically gets showcased? Or Has nobody started an EDC thread? Or Did I just do a horrible search effort, and missed it altogether? |

I like looking through EDC posts on Reddit and see people taking pictures of their whole armory they "carry every day." shit, the least amount I can carry I would and I definitely wouldn't need 2 knives and a backup gun (just generalizing here).
but I do like to look at cool gear. I just don't believe people carry everything they post lol. so gimmie some cool stuff to look at |

Mine's pretty basic... (just like me)...
it varies slightly depending on if it's a work day or off day... as well as destination allowances... In general though - - minimal wallet (leather) room for a few cards and a couple of bills - pocket knife (microtech utx-85) - pocket knife (utx-70) - keys to office / house - car key - cell phone (note10+) - flashlight (streamlight microstream) - springfield armory xds-45 - pair of extra magazines - watch (samsung gear s3 frontier) |

Goodness...don't know how some of you do it. Phone w/credit card case and key if I am driving. Anything else is either too much to remember each time, too much to transfer in and out of pants each time, or just too bulky. And I don't feel that my surroundings are that unsafe to carry several types of weapons...though I'm sure I'll be met with the counterargument, it's better to have it and not need it than the other way around.

What in the living hell are you guys so paranoid about? Man fear culture is real.
I carry a phone, the case has capacity for 3 cards, credit card, license and health card. Add one set of car keys... done. |

I was early 20's when I started carrying a firearm - that started after we were robbed at gunpoint, and witnessed one of my best friends never be the same again. It has nothing to do with fear, and everything to do with purpose. If you're fearful, you should Never carry a firearm. The flashlight just joined the fray about a decade ago.... and you'd be amazed how often it is used.... a LOT more than you'd expect, actually! Surprisingly, I use my watch the least of everything, but it's still there keeping my wrist company every day. |

Not quite sure what is so intense about that...maybe the firearm may throw you off but everything else is pretty regular stuff. I cant tell you how often a pocket knife and mini flashlight come in handy throughout the day.

phone, wallet, car fob.
I have zero reason to need a knife, flashlight, or gun on me at all times. From a tool perspective its all in the car or on the bike so no reason to have it in my pockets. Id love to be down to just a phone someday, my house is no longer analog and I pay for more and more using the phone everyday. The car fob isnt bad since its a 2008 and its well before they decided fobs needed to be massive for no reason at all. |

Minus the portable AED - but I do have CPR shields / not the same, but related. For those not familiar.... google the Israeli Bandage. No reason not to have one (or two) in the car at any given time. |

I keep a little medkit in my backpack that follows me around. Especially with hauling around two little dudes...injuries are inevitable.

It does, but I am not using my phone in situations that a flashlight makes more sense. The flashlight is a bit more rugged than my glass iphone. This flashlight is also the size of a pen, not like im carrying a 12" Maglite.
I tell her its 8" instead.
