Today I was totally amazed and very happy to find that insurance on my new 1 series is going to be $15 a month LESS than what I am currently paying on a 2001 Eclipse. I asked the agent if there could possibly be a mistake that a car that is worth 7 times my current car could actually be less to insure and she said that my Eclipse is considered a sports car and the 1 series is not.

Same here! The 300hp monster is going to be less then my crappy cobalt coupe. Not sure exactly why but im not complaining

using usaa I hope? 6 month policy for my 135 and audi a6 came in right at $350

u on the vbc? I am too...but only for a few more weeks

Yep, I'm still here, but will be leaving on 22 May headed for Kuwait, and then 25 may to CO.

I have some points that I've been waiting to drop off, but even with them, my insurance is going to be $200 lower every 6 months. I'm pretty psyched.
