These piecemeal reveals are a bit ridiculous… the marketing department is prioritizing clickbaiting over engineering white papers like the old days. It’s all about the eyeballs these days, I guess. I’d prefer they just let us know when the car is available and do a promotional auto cross.

So I’m guessing this is the M Sport and the earlier leak was base/non-M Sport? Not going to lie, the non-M Sport looks way better. M Sport, like all current BMW’s has the issue of being too busy with too many different shapes.

Do you honestly think this was leaked by BMW? Lots of journalists have the press images under embargo right now, probably this was photographed from a screen from far away and they tried to enhance it, hence why it is so blurry.

In any case, the official reveal is tomorrow.

How has first production year model BMWs been so far?

From my understanding, there's the new electronic power steering and new locking rear differential (M Sport Differential?).

These should be relatively minor anyway, correct, and can easily be remapped/tuned via software/firmware updates? I think the video with Horatiu driving did show the BMW engineer tweaking the steering response/settings electronically.
