Hi all,

Unfortunately I couldn’t take any photos in time. But on my way back from alftavatn I saw a x3 I believe with only front and back camel doing some sort of test with someone filming. Not exactly sure it was an x3 since I saw it so late but I’m wondering why it has only front and back camel but not on the four doors, roof and side skirts etc.

Not sure what this is. Any one have a clue?

Can’t imagine the G45 would have any camo at this stage.

I mean share your photos of the iX3 prototype test cars to see what they look like by comparison to the video posted.

Well if I have the photo I wouldn’t be asking lol. I said in my original post i could not get a photo in time

But it could not have been the prototype test iX3 in the video above with different camo ?

Ig I imagine the cannot change the grill shape completely. So I didn’t think it resemble what I saw

I think that looks quite similar, but not 100% sure. I think I’m going to say that it most likely is the g65. But what I don’t get is why is it only partially camel not the full car.

Have a look at this video around time stamp 1:19. It looks like there are existing models with front/rear camo accompanying prototype models.

Interesting. What's the point of that? Is it just to provide a distraction from the real prototype? But even then I don't see why they would just do partial camo.

I thought about the distraction/confusion angle or identify as part of the testing group, kinda support vehicles. There’s even an MB wagon in one of the vids with the same front/back camo.

If it’s about confusion, it’s working lol.😂
