My past few BMWs I’ve run a front plate via tow hook adapters. Could do the same on a G45. Front tow hook eye is on passenger side of front bumper.

If you do decide to mount it permanently, I suggest asking the dealer to do it as they have jigs and templates for aligning it precisely.

But if you only want to mount it temporarily from time to time (probably in response to fixit tickets?), then yeah a tow hook mount or one of the other no-drill solutions would work. It won't look as nice though IMO.

Tow hook mount can cause interference for parking sensors or driving assistant

They make retractable front license plate brackets. Sorry, I can't post a link from work.

No way I can drill into the bumper. Four black zip ties on the lower portion of the grill for the front plate (29 states in the US require front plates and sadly, RI is one of them).

I have done this on all my previous BMW's as well. Hoping the one I took off the M40i will work on this one as well.

Anything yet? https://carbonio.com/products/bmw-x3-2025-no-drill-front-license-plate-mount is the only thing I have found and it has been there for a long while. I was hoping for a tow hook version.

I just drilled into the bumper not worth the hassle of these tow hooks etc. If I'm moving out of the state that doesn't require a front plate I'll replace the trim piece. It's a daily car not a rare Bugatti. While it sucks not worth the hassle.
