Does new gen X3 have data ports?

I learned that BMW removed the 2 data ports from the 2025 x1 & 2’s. They had them in the 2023 & 2024 models. Now vehicle is available with just 2 usb-c charging ports in front & 2 in the rear. There is no way to play music from a flash drive or transfer data to ID9.

Did they do the same in the 2025 3rd gen X3? Do they have data ports up front & or in the rear seat area?

From the pictures I've seen, there is the data symbol besides the USB-C ports in the center console.

On the new X1 and 2 series it only shows a power symbol on the 25 models.

So I'm quite sure we get USB-C ports with full data support in the X3 G45.

As mentioned above, the USB C ports near the centre console charging/storage area are apparently data enabled. The downside is USB C memory drives have a much larger profile than possible with USB A drives, and if you’re using the phone pad or storage area, it would be easy to knock.

I use a Samsung USB C (33.70 X 15.90 X 6.40mm), which was the lowest profile I could find at the time, but prefer to plug in the USB C data port under the armrest in my G01.

I use a 90° adapter for am USB-C Drive and this realy helps to avoid to knock it over.

Next step will be to dismantle the memory stick ans cut off the USB-A portion that takes most of the size on USB-C sticks.
