I wonder what BMW means by "extended" Merino Leather?

I know there has been a lot of complains about plastics including the dashboard and doors. I wonder if extended covers in leather anything extra that the veganza doesn't?

I think it’s a US marketing term that means nothing, as in the UK market it’s just individual Merino covering the seat faces. The US website often perpetuates misleading information .

Other models like the X5 have extended and full merino, which adds leather in increasing amount to other parts of the car, including the dash.
