Ferrari F450: Undisguised pictures of Ferrari's stunning F430 replacement
Ferrari F450 Feast your eyes on Ferrari's all-new F430 replacement! Spied being rolled onto the back of a truck in Italy, these are the first pictures of the Prancing Horse's new entry-level model – the F450. As you can see, the new model looks very different to the current car with a pair of sweeping side air vents, which have been enlarged to cool the improved engine and brakes. In a bid to compete with the Lamborghini Gallardo, the new car will get a larger 4.5-litre V8 engine – hence the name – putting out around 500bhp thanks to modified mechanicals including a higher rev limit. It will also get a new gearbox too, in the shape of the California’s seven-speed double clutch unit. This is likely to modified to suit the mid-engined car’s sportier demeanour. The F450 may even be the first car to incorporate KERS. Used on Formula One racers, the kinetic energy recovery system turns energy saved from braking into extra power. Expect the F450 to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September with UK sales starting in 2010. Source:http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/au...rari_f450.html

I can't tell if I'll like it more or less than the F430. I love the current design.

I have fixed feelings about the looks too. But it looks like Fords' F-450 has a new rival.

I think this one will take time to grow on me. It's got a lot of flow going on if you know what I mean. Kinda cool and exotic in an artsy way, less so in an aggressive and sporty way. The shape of the two big holes in the front look intrusive and don't belong.

I didn't even notice the holes until you mentioned them. If they dropped the trim on them, they'd disappear.
I think this one hell of sexy design. Beautiful curves.

The low belt-line looks a little odd, but I'm sure it will be beautiful in person though. It seems to have Zonda like proportions.

Yes.
Overall it's nice but doesnt grab me like the 430 which I love. I want something between the smooth 360 and aggressive 430. This is quite bland and doesnt even look Ferrari-like.
