That's a quick way to get your car key'd! The parking lot is pretty empty, was he really in that much danger of some one even parking next to him let alone TOO close.

Whatever it takes to stop the ignorant people who don't respect other people's property, I guess.
Though he could have been less of an ass about it and put the cones ON the line, and moved his car against the curb. Acting that way will get your car keyed fast.

What I don't understand is that cones really serve no purpose. They don't even block off the space next to the car.
I few years back when I was working for a larger company I recall a douche that had a red corvette and he thought he is very special so he used park his car sideways into 2-3 parking spaces. So one day me and my coworkers decided to just box him in with 4 cars. The face on him was precious when he came out ready to go home.
