A good samaritan's chase in a new 997.1 Porsche 911 Turbo leads to the arrest of the criminal.

well the police should give them a warning on the fact that its dangerous to do a high speed pursuit like that... on the other hand, they shouldnt be charging them with anything.

if some guy broke into my apartment at night and i accidentally killed him cos i beat him with my frying pan or stabbed him with my kitchen knife while he was running away with my jewelery or cash, i shouldnt be charged with anything... cos the truth is, the police would prob have a hard time catching the guy responsible if not for the chase.

The moment I see a Porsche 911 Turbo 997.2 storming towards me in the rearview mirror, I would pull over immediately and surrender. I don't know what the criminal was thinking when he attempted to outrun a 500 HP low-11 second monster.

Sorry did not put the video before. Updated thread and now video added. You can see a 2009 911 997 Turbo in there being driven by the two guys.

Well, you can clearly distinguish it as the turbo in the videos...espescially towards the beginning where the two pull away....rims/vents/spoiler....all classic cues of The Turbo.

That was a 997.1 not the 997.2. Sick chase. I would have done the same exact thing.

Fixed. It is indeed a 2009 997.1 with LED front lights like it says in the title and not a 997.2.

Had they not done so the guy would've gone away.

Cop is just jealous that an untrained civilian in a supercar caught them so quickly without any drama, fuss or casualties while their flock of Crown Victoria cruisers take several hours before they even get close to him, if they are even lucky to catch him in a hot pursuit.
