2011 Ford Mustang

Ford coming back with a vengeance and finally giving domestic gearheads what they want.

idk what you're saying with this, but the '11 5.0 is one badass mofo. better than the competition in every category and cheaper too.

MT pulled .97g on the skidpad and a 4.4s to 60 run (1/4 in the 12s as well). jesus that absolutely dominates a 335i.

I sat in one of them, and it didn't feel right with the placement of the shifter, steering wheels, etc. The whole experience was nothing too impressive.

I agree.

I was driving by a Ford dealership the other day and I had to look twice as I saw a really nice brand new F150. She was a beaut, black too!

my 2003 GT is on the way out to make room for the M3.

you get what you pay for. no brakes, suspension, and the interior rattles and falls apart after a couple years. The new styling is gaudy and uncomfortable and the tires and wheels STILL don't fill out the body, you have to practically squint to see them in the cavern-like wheel wells. I would look at 3-series cars and sigh.

the drivetrain is great when well-maintained, but the rest of the experience has been frustration with quality with me. the rear-view mirror fell off the windshield, for chrissakes and my convertible top started leaking after the warranty (36k miles) was up. I'll spare you the rest of the laundry list of gripes.

the bmw premium is worth it IMO.

I'd like to have one. I guess it's a car I'll buy in Gran Turismo 5 whenever that comes out.

A 2010 mustang gt or the new 2011 5.0 coming out?

I test drove a 2010 mustang gt, and my experience was completely opposite of what you said. I was really impressed and it was more fun to drive than my 335. I hope you're kidding.

The 2011 5.0 was the one I was in. I wasn't joking, it's just not a car I'd enjoy sitting in. The placements of the shifter, seat, dashboard buttons, to me was not comfortable at all. With my M or even an AMG, you'll feel "secure" in your seat, with everything within your reach. Everything in the interior flows like it should be.

However, I didn't comment on the driving experience, so you might misunderstood my post
