Californians: are you going to vote to legalize weed in November?
Now that the measure is on the ballot, I'm curious as to what direction people are going to lean in the vote.

i don't get the government's hangup about weed anymore. it's 2010 and nobody really cares anymore. make it legal and tax it like cigarettes. everybody wins.

Hell yes. I can't smoke because of my job, but I will vote to legalize. Mexican border towns are worse than Baghdad because of the drug gangs. Over 5,000 dead in the past 2 years in Juarez alone.

That won't do anything to stop this because the other 49 states still need their drugs. Also, how is this possible. It is I believe a federal law and can't be overridden by state. For example how DEA on occasion raids and seizes everything from medical marijuana shops and are legally justified to do so because the drug is illegal in the USA.
