BMW owners converting?

just wondering

has anyone here left BMW and went with other brands and is happy with what you are having?

just curious....cause i noticed that once you drive a BMW....you just find other cars very uncomfortable to drive in....

after owning a BMW....test drives from other brands became VERY frustrating and boring....

I left BMW two cars back because the service at both dealers in my area left a lot be desired. Went to Audi, and both Audi dealer's service was awesome. But the cars were boring. Had to come back to BMW for the fun factor, and time had healed the service dept wounds.

Unfortunately, I'm rediscovering why I left in the first place. As long as I don't have to get near the service dept, I love the car and the brand. Minute I have to deal with the habitual service nightmares I start to look around at other cars again. Swear, every time I take it in for something, it's at least a 3 tripper for them to rectify damage they caused while it's in.

My wife's buying an Audi Q7 in the spring. Hands down, it beats the X5 as a family truckster. Bonus points for knowing the service will be good.

PS. Both my Audi's were a much more enjoyable place to spend my commute. Interior felt nicer/calmer, less overdone, better materials etc. Just that when you get them into a corner they get boring fast.

haha....it's totally different for me

I went to test drive some audi's before i got my E90.....and audi's salesperson and services were pretty mean to me....and i don't want to talk about it anymore.....

just when i thought i'll be keeping my 50-60K in my pocket, i walked inside a BMW dealership.....service was FANTASTIC....and the test drive was AMAZING.....so i gave them my 50K and i got my E90 in return....:rocks:

Dude, pretty much followed the same MO you did. Left for an A6, then Merc CLS, great service dept ( same dealership ) but found both to boring and disconnected and came back. I have a BMW dealer 5 miles away but travel 45 to another for better service. BTW the Q7 rocks!

My next car will not be a bimmer . becourse i wanna try out any other brands in the same money range or the same klasse later .
Every 2 - 3 years i drive in a new car of other brand. i am still young, i want to fooling around
The cars i owned before i purchased the bimmer were the Ford Focus RS with 215 whp and the Audi TT quattro with 225 whp . i still miss the Focus RS . the Audi TT sucked cuz it had a lot of problems . this BMW E90 is a great car to drive but it isn't very special to me

so now let's listen to the experiences from other E90 owners here
