Torrenting TV Shows and Movies

If you like to torrent TV shows and Movies on a regular basis I would recommend Eztv.it for tv shows and torrentday.com for movies and tv shows not found on EZ.
These are two sites I have been using frequently over the past 6 months and not once have I been contacted about copyright infringement. These sites have only verified files from dedicated uploaders so everything is clean. Eztv will post episodes of shows around 30-45mins after they air. Only catch about Torrentday is that you need to maintain above a .2 download to upload ratio.
I also use the program UTorrent to manage downloads

Can ISP monitor what you download over things like rapidshare, fileserve, megaupload, etc.? I don't think they really can but I'm not sure.

They can but they don't act on anything unless a production company contacts your isp.

I was caught twice last year while using Isohunt and would see comments where people posted they were caught. I have not seen any comments like that on these sites.

I'm really not too worried about getting caught since I'm using university internet but if I get another notice I would look into ways of covering it up.

I just wanted to let people know about these sites since I have only had good experiences with them.

I just got an email that basically said some company complained you had their property so if you get caught again it is possible we could alter your internet privileges.
I just switched my torrent client to be encrypted, didn't realize it was so easy.

If any of you guys are really worried about getting busted downloading torrents, Usenet is the way to go, imo. Of course, it isn't free though.

Isn't torrenting illegal? Can't you go to jail for that? I tend to stay away from risky things, especially when I'm not paying for them.

Good thing I pay for newsleecher and binaries.<3 Newsgroups.

Piratebay is in a big lawsuit right now, they did shut down but are back up at the moment, they have tons of spam which I dont like

I did not know that, thanks for the update.

Their spam is annoying, but I've learned how to bypass all of it. I like it because it enhances my 'spam radar'.. I don't fall for the same shit on either sites there either
