Recession? What recession?
Recession? What recession?
So, it seems that this "global recession" has not impacted negatively on everyone. Check this out! It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi oil billionaire (naturally). Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque 0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs running on biofuel.. That is NOT stainless steel, people, it is WHITE GOLD! I'm sure you'll sleep better tonight, knowing that the exhorbitant dollars you're paying for gas these days are at least going to a good cause... I wonder if his friend has a M3, 5 or even 6 made just like it ... any of you seen one? ... let's see it

Man that thing is hideous lol. If I wanted to see reflections I'd look in a mirror and save that cash.
Numbers are hard to believe too. More important question is can the driver replicate them...? lol |

In a nutshell, the batteries waste must be compared to the waste generated by the usage of fuel during all the car life cycle. The only thing that matter is the bottom line of pollution at the end of the cycle for the different solutions. The same question can be asked for the usage of non recyclable material like carbon composite on the car. If the energy saving can justify the usage of these material on a environmental point of view, this could be acceptable. I hope you understand the point.
