2007 x3
I'm leasing one for my wife this weekend.
From what I've read the second generation is a vast improvement over the original. Anyone have any experience with the new X3? Thanks in advance.

Congrats-wellcome to a two BMW familly.
My wife has the previous generation-handling is super and so is the awd. The new one has the old 330 engine -255 Hp so very well powered now and upgraded interior (touch and feel of dash etc.). Of course the new bumper and light treatment makes it a better looking suv. Good choice, we're happy with ours and 85% sure we're getting another when our lease is up.

great choice. The 07 is an improvment and we are selling them like crazy. What color and options did you get. Best of luck.

We walked in on Saturday. Test drove one. Loved it. And picked out our options and colors from what was available on the lot.
She chose Black on Black: Premium Cold 18" inch All Seasons She is so happy she can't contain herself. I am amazed at how nice the new x3 drives. Great car from what little I've seen so far. Btw, if you are in the Western New York area, and go to Towne BMW be sure to ask for Doug Rosen. He is a great guy, and will not bullshit you.

The only thing I didn't like about the new X3 is that the interior wasn't really updated when they did the exterior. I had one as a loaner about a month ago and asked the SA while returning it why there was no update and he said because their will be an interior update in a year or 2. I dunno? Either way great choice!

I just recently test-drove an X3 sport, and I loved it! My parents are looking into that or the X5, either one is great in my book. Congrats, I'm sure your wife is going to love driving even more with the new X3
