Pay the ticket with about 10 dollars extra. When you get a re-imbursement check back from the county to not cash it, CHUCK IT. County will be satisfied but no points or reports will be filed because the case has not officially been closed until all financial transaction have taken place...

Sounds too easy, but this works for me ALL the time here in Florida.

If it works for you, that's great -- I need to move to Florida. I don't know where the OP lives, but I guarantee that approach would never work in ticket-happy Northern Virginia.

No shit? Just sent my app in for the always wonderful online DD class. A thrill a minute. Wish I could find out if that works here in Tejas.

This is the best way to fix it, it will cost some up front but save you time and money in the long run.

When I was getting insurance for my 335i, I spoke to an insurance agent and the topic arose. We chucked a bit at about how easy it was and he even confirmed it worked...Again, He was an insurance agent in Central Fl.

Postpone the court date a few times then when you appear you ask the cop ...what make and description of the vehicle he was driving at the time of this incident ...then do have a calibrated report for the said vehicle today? The report must be more than one year old and must be complete in its entirety.

Trust me it takes so balls to do but its worth it!

any idea how much insurance will go up for my ticket?

lastly anyone know if an officer in the same police district as the cop that gave me my ticket, if the officer can remove or alter the ticket to like a simple thing as no turn blinker?

No another Officer cannot change a ticket its a felony. 2nd in georgia we have blue light specials were the speed is dropped 10-12 mph or changed to a county ordinance and no points on your license but you still pay the full amount of the fine. you will have to do due dillegence on the ticket increase. I just compared rates on the quick qoutes on my insurances website.
