Opinion on X3 Tuning
Hey guys,
So ive got a 06 X3 (Black with terracotta) and am thinking that i might want to try to make it a little "cooler". Im a young guy and my buddies keep calling it a spoiled sorority girl car... which is funny cause every time we go somewhere they tell me how nice it is. It cracks me up. Anyway... i was just wondering what your thoughts were on spicing up the X3 a bit. I was kind of considering putting some Dinan parts on it and just trying to give myself some distance from the mundane X3's you see around here. Personally i think it would be pretty cool (not that my car isnt already) but i'd like to make sure im not insane... so give me some feedback. Oh and if you have any other ideas let me know... |

Get some nice rims for it.
And as stated earlier, if you don't have the M-Aero kit you can get that as it make the car look more aggressive.

Wheels?
Hamann, ACS, and Lumma all make kits for it. I'm not particularly fond of any of them, but the Lumma one in particular make it look a lot more masculine. Not to threadjack, but William, any pics of your hamann e92?

Id say probably a aero-kit and try to black everything out. The x3 isnt really designed to be sporty to begin with so its tough to try to make it look really aggressive. And yea, it is pretty much a "sorority girls car". Here at school ive seen 3 girls drive it...ive drove it myself as a loaner and its got some kick.
