A4 2.0 vs 335i
Check it out, just for fun:
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150792 I'm just amazed by some people's attitude. Just like ricers...they think they drive GOD-made machines.

I love the comments about the 335's automatic being terrible and slow shifting...
Also, how does this guy even know it was a 335i? No one on that forum seemed to have suggested that to the OP. |

That's too funny how they are arguing hardcore amongst themselves.
Let them think what they want to think, but someday when that OP puts up some money on a stock 335i the 335i will really race him. I also got a kick out of the guy who wrote that the auto 335i's are MUCH slower. Where do they get these ideas??? If he only knew the truth. But at least there were a handful of wise people on that thread who knew that even a stock 335i would walk a chipped A4 2.0T Quattro...even more so from a roll where the Audi couldn't even use the AWD launch. From 30-120 that OP's Audi would lose to a stock 335i by 4-6 car lengths. |

I stopped reading halfway down the 4th page. It was funny seeing all of the "Audi is taking over the world" and "Audi's are the better driver cars" comments...
I was getting so frustrated with the false 335i info (re: slow AT, 5.1s to 60) that I almost signed up just to justify it. |

I drive an A4 - I post on AZ and BimmerFest - first off, the 335i is a NICE car.. no doubt (and for that much money, it better be) and it's pretty damn fast. If you read through the pages, you'll see that outside of a few idiots (and honestly, what forum doesn't have them?), no one doubts the 335i is faster than the A4 2.0T. Like some of you noticed, there's alot of back and forth going on between the OP and the others (also should be noted that the OP never said he *won*, he admitted he *lost*)..

wow that thread makes me feel embarrassed to have an RS4. my god that guy is an idiot. But hey you know what ill confirm it on here for the bmw guys, its hard to find an Audi enthusiast, its easy to find an owner. I mean i go to the audi meets and just feel like im teaching people how to use there cars rather then me learning new stuff.

Believe me, there's nasty comparison threads all over the place. you should check out some of the M3, and ZM vs 335 arguements that go on here some time. And we all come from the "same family".

My neighbor drives his Bimmer hard in the summers but it's always back to his old 1.8T A4 in the fall/winter. Some people need to be more open-minded like that.. just enjoy the fine piece of German engineering you're fortunate enough to own. 90% of the Bimmerfest guys are awesome / extremely knowledgeable; it's unfortunate that asses like Titanium troll other boards and tarnish your rep. |
