I don't have PS, but I think you could create a transparent layer sized to your typical portrait sizes with just the text you want in an appropriate position. When you are done editing your photograph, you can plop this copyright layer on top of it. I personally use Lightroom and it has that feature built-in.

Neema - I used batch processing as well. Another way to do it is to make your name a seperate layer and drag that layer from one picture where it is to another picture. It will copy it in the new picture.
