BOSTON?
so my buddy left for Boston to start grad-school and i told him that ill help him move in (i.e. party like we're freshmen....again) so im going there for the weekend (well thurs to monday) in a week or so. with sooo many colleges in the area i have to believe this place is going to be an mad house. and im getting my self ready for all the bee-ahs and chow-dah. itll be a wicked awe-sem time. anyhow for those who live in/around or visited Boston any recommendations?
any good bars? clubs? food? and maybe some things i should avoid....like sayin "wicked awe-sem"? maybe some e90poster will come pick me up from the airport?haha. |

For attractions there are red sox games, the aquarium, museum of science and a few other things.
For food there is the North end which has a couple hundred italian places. There is chinatown, and then newbury street etc. For bars I have no clue. For shopping, Newbury street, fanuel hall, and harvard square. It's going to suck though it is packed. My girlfriend is going to a college right next to Fenway. Went yesterday and it is just horrible traffic and people wise. Still fun but can be annoying.

for night life, go to either fanuel hall or newbury street
stay away from lansdowne, the scene there is wicked trashy for day voyages you can pretty much walk the entire city in one day make sure you see -boylston st./newbury st. -boston common/public gardens -beacon hill -north end north end has some great food... basically pick and choose your restaurant thats all i can think of atm |

I just know they serve Guiness for breakfast in some Irish pubs...
I personally like Skipjack's and B&G Oysters, but I know general crowd goes to Legal Sea Foods.
