it's...wow! I can't see any current car (within or below its price range) that will top it aesthetically. Unless the Aston V8 Vantage is included, even then I'm still not sure if that will top the F-Type coupe. Those tail pipes in real life are sexy!

The roof line (especially in the last picture) looks kind of awkward. It's just not well proportioned. It doesn't swoop down seamlessly or elegantly with the trunk. The rear overall is not as elegant as I initially thought.

I really like the front end, though. The very first picture is great.

More expensive. For sure. Had the coupe been released first followed by the convertible, it would be vice-versa.

It's listed as the same $69k base price as the convertible.

Very good looking car indeed, but definitely not as sleek as the CX-16 concept it's based on. Roof looks more upright, but it could just be the angles

Not according to autoblog

http://www.autoblog.com/2013/11/19/j...pping-r-model/

Both V6-powered F-Type Coupes are priced $4,000 less than their roadster counterparts

Yeah I thought so too, but I also think it's angles now after looking at it. Also the fact that the "white" coupe, the lines have blurred a bit so it's harder to get the roof line detail in that angle, and color.

For myself it is nice that it will hold two golf bags after removing the drivers.

Can't wait to see it in silver.

How can you make an actual complaint that this isn't as good looking as the concept. Of course it won't look as good; the concept doesn't have to worry about things like interior volume, engineering hardpoints, and even trunk lines for christ's sake. Half the reason that the concept looks better from the rear is the fact that they didn't have to work around a trunk which would break the paneling up quite a bit (not to mention the lack of a CHMSL at the top of the rear window).

You could take most modern cars, remove their panel gaps and trunk openings and squash their roof a bit, and they'd look sleeker. I'm fucking impressed with this overall production result.
